Volodymyr Dudchak, Private Entrepreneur, operates the Well Tracker mobile application (“Well”). This Privacy Policy explains our data collection, use, storage, and protection practices.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

Name, email address, and profile details you provide.

1.2 Health and Wellness Data

  • Apple Health data: step count, heart rate, sleep data, and other metrics you authorize.
  • User check-ins: manually entered mood, energy levels, and wellness indicators.

1.3 Device and Usage Information

Device type, operating system version, app version, language settings, and usage patterns.

1.4 Analytics Data

Amplitude collects anonymized usage and behavioral data, including feature interactions and engagement patterns. Health data is excluded.

1.5 Crash and Performance Data

Sentry collects crash reports, error logs, and performance data. Technical information such as device type and OS version is included; health and check-in data are not.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve app features.
  • Display health and wellness trends.
  • Personalize your experience based on check-in data.
  • Send notifications you have opted into.
  • Analyze aggregated, anonymized usage data.
  • Process fully anonymized wellness data through third-party AI services (such as those provided by OpenAI or Anthropic).
  • Respond to support requests.

3. Apple Health (HealthKit) Data

Apple Health data is:

  • Not used for advertising or marketing.
  • Not sold to third parties.
  • Not shared without your explicit consent.
  • Not used for unrelated purposes.
  • Not stored in iCloud or unsecured environments.

4. Data Storage and Security

Data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. Health data is primarily stored locally on your device. Data transmitted over the network is protected via TLS/SSL encryption. We implement reasonable safeguards, though absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

5. Third-Party Services

5.1 Amplitude (Analytics)

Receives anonymized usage data only. No access to health data or account information. Privacy policy: amplitude.com/privacy.

5.2 Sentry (Error Tracking)

Receives technical diagnostic data only. No health data or account information. Privacy policy: sentry.io/privacy.

5.3 AI-Powered Well-Being Analysis

Data sent to OpenAI or Anthropic is fully anonymized, with no personally identifiable information included.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your information. It is shared only when:

  • You explicitly authorize it.
  • Service providers assist in operating the app.
  • Required by law.
  • Necessary for safety.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You may:

  • Access your personal data.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Delete your personal data and account.
  • Withdraw consent.
  • Export your data.
  • Revoke HealthKit permissions via Settings.

8. Data Retention

We retain data as long as necessary. Account deletion results in deletion or anonymization of your data within 30 days, except where retention is legally required.

9. Children’s Privacy

The app is not intended for users under 13. We do not intentionally collect data from children.

Cross-border transfers comply with applicable data protection laws.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

Updates are posted in-app with a change to the “Last Updated” date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
